Built on a Tradition of Craftsmanship
The story of mj.Installations is rooted in generations of craftsmanship, beginning in Germany and continuing today in British Columbia. Founder Michael Jobs built his career around woodworking, furniture and precision installation, developing the experience and attention to detail that continue to define every project the company takes on.
Today, mj.Installations brings that tradition to luxury homes, condominiums, multi-family developments and commercial spaces throughout Greater Vancouver. Working alongside homeowners, builders, architects and interior designers, Michael and his team combine traditional craftsmanship with modern techniques, thoughtful problem-solving and an uncompromising commitment to quality.
Our Story
mj.Installations' roots reach back to Germany, where Michael Jobs developed his passion for woodworking and furniture through his father's installation company. After joining the family business in 1989, Michael took over the company in 1994 and continued its tradition of skilled craftsmanship and precision installation.
Michael brought that experience to British Columbia in 2007, managing installations for prominent projects including the Shangri-La Hotel Vancouver, Fairmont Pacific Rim Hotel and Vancouver's Olympic Village. In 2013, he established mj.Installations, later adding a dedicated woodworking shop to expand the company's custom fabrication capabilities.
